VIDEO: The Great Illusion: I am…

There is a great illusion that most people hold that greatly impacts their reality and it is tied to what they believe about themselves.  If I asked you to finish the sentence, “I am…” what would you say? Often the answer is tied to a role you may play, like parent, CEO, or musician. But what else do you believe about yourself, your potential, and what is possible for you? Ask yourself this question. “What do I currently believe about myself that may not be true?” The answer is probably something that is holding you back from your true potential and the utmost joy and happiness that is possible for your life. If you’re willing to challenge that answer you …

VIDEO: What experiences are YOU creating in your life?

One of the Life Departments we cover in our Vision Workshop is that of Life Experiences. Let’s face it, life IS an experience in itself. We only get to keep our memories at the end of the day. Jolie and I have built a strong foundation to ensure we provide enriching, fun, nurturing, and memorable experiences for our daughter. We recently visited France and here is a quick video I shot on a bike ride through the heart of the Burgundy Region as we were going from village to village and doing some wine tasting. Lessons from Avengers – Endgame

There have been very few times when I feel pulled to go see a movie by myself. This week was one of those times. It went beyond just the hype, the reviews, or the record-breaking ticket sales. I really felt there was a message for me in the movie, Avengers – Endgame. FYI: I will not spoil the movie for those who have yet to see it, so carry on. How do you break out of this pattern and learn to be able to run your mind rather than have your mind run you? In this video, Chris talks about the benefits of both yoga and meditation as powerful tools to create a higher level of consciousness; to be in the moment and arrive at a place where we are able …

Paying Attention to the Intention

It’s rare for me to come across anyone these days that has not heard of the term mindfulness. In fact, this movement has been sweeping the nation and many other developed countries for a number of years.  There are now even consulting firms that are being contracted by companies to come in and work with employees on how to be more mindful in their work and workplace. I am a strong advocate of this movement and believe it has an impact across all spectrums–personal and professional.  However, in my experience, it (alone) doesn’t truly drive the outcomes that most high achievers are after. The fact of the matter is we’ve built a culture that operates on the premise that more is better. …
